Note: All of the following results were announced by Egyptian ambassadors to their respective countries, as reported by state news agency MENA.

Egypt's eloctoral committee said Monday the final official results are to be announced after a referendum at home, due to start January 14 through 15, closes.

 

Saudi Arabia:

"Yes":  23,011 (98 percent)

"No":  474 (2 percent)

Washington, D.C., USA:

"Yes":  810 (95.5 percent)

"No":  32 (3.8 percent)

Paris:

"Yes":  2070 (98.5 percent)

"No":  32 (1.5 percent)

Austria:

"Yes": 503 (98.2 percent)

"No": 6 (1.2 percent)

London:

"Yes":  1535 (97.3 percent)

"No":  34 (2.1 percent)

Norway:

"Yes":  35 (94.5 percent) --MENA reported this total to be 98.8 percent

"No":  2 (5.4 percent)

Moscow:

"Yes": 44 (93.6 percent)

"No": 3 (6.4 percent)

Italy:

Rome: "Yes":  714 (99 percent) 

            "No":  4 (0.5 percent)

Milan: "Yes":  2262 (98.8 percent)

            "No":  28 (1.2 percent)

Mauritania : 

"Yes":  80 percent

China: 

"Yes":  92 percent

Palestine:

"Yes":  100 percent

Sudan:

"Yes":  249 (98.4 percent)

"No":  4 (1.5 percent) 

Libya:

"Yes":  97.5 percent
