The governor of Assuit intends to take firm action against trespassers

Assuit Governor Nabil El-Ezaby has decided to form committees to overlook agricultural land in the governorate to ensure that no trespassing has taken place.

The committee will work alongside the armed forces to monitor any violations, especially transferring fertile land to non-agricultural land.

Moreover, El-Ezaby threatened to legally charge trespassers, especially those who took advantage of the lack of security during the January 25 uprising and vandalized land. He stated that, "It’s our duty to preserve agricultural land for future generations."
