The Ethiopian minister of foreign affairs will be among the attendees of Egyptian President-elect Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi's inauguration on Sunday, reported the Turkish Anadolu news agency.

An informed Ethiopian source told Anadolu Agency that an invitation to El-Sisi's inaugural ceremony had been extended by the Egyptian government to a delegation of Ethiopian officials headed by the minister of foreign affairs, Tedros Adhanom.

The source added that this would be the first visit to Cairo for a high-level Ethiopian official since relations between the two countries began deteriorating over a year ago due to Egypt's objections to the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.

Last year, Ethiopia and five other Nile Basin countries – Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and Burundi – endorsed an accord, the Co-operative Framework Agreement, which replaces a 1929 treaty granting Egypt veto power over any project on the Nile in upstream countries.

Indeed, every body knows it that Egypt is superior in Military Capabilities and capacities and Ethiopia is superior in its attitudes of and handlings of the Nile Issues and in its international deplomatic engagements. Thus, courage to such capable and knowledgeable political figures to bridge the foreign relations between Ethiopia and Egypt exclusively and sustainably!

He's not an Ethiopian Foreign Minster
He is Woyane, handpicked by the Tyrant Meles. From the same Tigrian ethnicity. And Woyane lost in 2005 election. I totally support the dam, but not these tyrants Tigrians.

May God give Sisi the wisdom to take the relation between Ethiopia and Egypt to a new era of mutual trust and development through equitable use their joint resource.Poletcians should able to show the people that a future based on the colonial agreements is no more thinkable in the Nile basin, and a future based on respect for all the Nile basin countries is the civilized and best option for Egypt.

Keep it up
Eventhough Ethiopia's hands were always stretched to welcome the Egyptian broth ers for a fair and equitable use of our common natural resource some Egyptpoliticians were and stil trying to mislead the Egyptian people and the international community . However the ultimate winners will be the two brotherly peoples . Therefore, Ethiopian Government has to keep up stretching Ethiopia's hands until they reach people of Egypt .
