Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will on Tuesday begin a tour of Jordan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported.
Diplomatic sources said Shoukry's visits to Jordan and Kuwait would include discussions on possible ways to strengthen their relationship with Egypt as well as discussing the Iraqi situation and the latest developments in Arab states, especially Syria and Libya.
The minister's visit to Saudi Arabia will be the second since his appointment in mid-June. He is scheduled to attend a conference held by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to discuss the situation in Palestine.
Egypt previously called on Israeli authorities to "exercise self-restraint" with Palestine following the abduction of three Israeli teen settlers. The events have soon unfolded to witness Israel exercising more violence towards Palestinians following the discovery of the bodies of the three abductees.
