Egypt to witness drastic decline in temperature degrees on Thursday

Temperatures all over Egypt are expected to fall 15 Celsius degrees on Thursday, a statement by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) reads.

A wave of hot weather has hit all Egyptian governorates, with temperatures reaching above 38 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

The Thursday weather is forecasted to reach a high of 22 Celsius and a low of 12 in Cairo, while in Alexandria a high of 19 and a low of 13 degrees Celsius.

A spokesperson for EMA, Wahid Seoudi, has previously told Ahram Online that that a sand storm will hit the country on Thursday and Friday leading to poor visibility on roads and turbulence in navigation on the Mediterranean Sea.

The low temperature will last for 24 hours according to the EMA.
