One person was injured and three trucks overturned when a bridge partially collapsed in the Nile Delta on Sunday, Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported.  

The bridge is located in Manyal village in Mansoura governorate.

Security forces and ambulances immediately moved to the scene and the injured were transferred to hospital.

In late 2014, the president of the General Authority for Roads, Bridges and Land Transport said that 700 of Egypt's 1,706 bridges had exceeded their maintenance limit and were at risk of collapse.
