Fire erupts in Cairo Sheraton Hotel, Egypt

Fire fighters are trying to contain a fire on the second floor of Egypt's Cairo Sheraton Hotel

A fire erupted today in the Cairo Sheraton Hotel, which firemen are now working to extinguish.

The fire started in the second floor of the hotel. Roughly ten fire engines headed out immediately to the hotel in Giza to try to contain the fire.

Initial investigations have revealed that the fire started in the swimming pool’s generator room.
