Leading Muslim Brotherhood member Mohsen Rady declared on Monday that the first MB television channel, Egypt 25, will be launched in a few days.

Rady confirmed that the MB is planning to get involved in the cinema business and that they are currently setting up a production company.

Under the Mubarak regime, says Rady, the MB hadn’t been able to realise their long-held desire to start a channel.

Egypt 25 will be managed by Ashraf El-Baltimy.
