The United States said it was "deeply disappointed and concerned" after an Egyptian court sentenced three Al-Jazeera reporters to three years in prison on Saturday.

"We urge the government of Egypt to take all available measures to redress this verdict, which undermines the very freedom of expression necessary for stability and development," State Department spokesman John Kirby said in a statement.

No to UK, EU & US; Yes to Russia
Egypt seems to go back to the arms of Russia; replacing democratic countries for dictatorships. Let's see how long this lasts when Putin chews Egypt and spits the bits out!

I strongly condemn your blatant interference in Egypt judiciary system and you have no right whatsoever to criticise our system nor interfer in our internal affairs.Sort your Big F racist police force and social ststem before you try to tell others how to run their own.People living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.M.Omran

Did you just compared Egyptian fascist system where government itself murder people while in America government punishes police for wrongdoing ?
Cops in America have to answer for their brutality while in Egyptian fascist system they have total free hand.
