Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi visited earlier on Thursday the headquarters of Egypt’s General Intelligence Service in Cairo, Ahram Arabic news website reported.

During his visit, El-Sisi met with the head of the General Intelligence Service, Khaled Fawzi.

The president also held a meeting with other leading officials in the General Intelligence Service to discuss the latest challenges facing the country, as well the most recent developments in the region and their affects on Egypt's national security.
