Temperatures will drop considerably on Sunday, bringing wind and rain to most governorates in Egypt, including Cairo, according to meteorological authority experts.
Cairo will see a low of 22 degrees Celsius and a high of 25 degrees Celsius, down by 8-10 degrees since Saturday.
In Alexandria, temperatures will drop to 19 degrees, with a high of 24 degrees. The Mediterranean Sea will be unstable, with waves three to four meters high, due to the wind, which is expected to disrupt maritime transportation. The Red Sea will be calmer, with waves two to three meters high.
In Sinai and in the South of the country, heavy rain will fall, and there will be thunder and lightning. The weather is expected to remain unstable until Tuesday, Wahid Seoudi, meteorological authority spokesman, told state-run news agency MENA.
