On Monday the court has allowed the media to live broadcast the corruption case against former information minister Mostafa El-Fiqi and former head of broadcast and television Osama El-Sheikh.
This is the second court case to be aired live on television. The first was a corruption trial on Egyptian gas exports to Israel for which businessman Husein Salem is being tried in absentia along with former petroleum minister Sameh Fahmy.
