Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi will visit Athens on Tuesday where he will attend a tripartite summit with Greek Prime Minister Alexi Tsipras and Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades, the Egyptian presidency announced on Sunday.
The summit, to take place on 9 December, will be the third meeting held between the three heads of state since the election of El-Sisi as president in 2014.
President El-Sisi will discuss bilateral relations with Greek leaders as well as the latest developments in the region.
El-Sisi will also meet with the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament Nikos Voutsis, and will meet with Greece's Minister of Defence Panos Kammenos to discuss Egyptian-Greek military and security cooperation, with a focus on the threat of terrorism in the region.
The Egyptian president is also set to attend an Egyptian-Greek businessmen's summit in Athens to discuss economic cooperation and development between the two countries, particularly in regards to the energy sector.
El-Sisi's visit is scheduled to end on Thursday, 10 December.
