The head of the North Sinai security forces said they arrested 15 in total as suspects in the attack on the Arish police station, ten of which are Palestinian.

He added that those arrested are currently undergoing investigations.

Three of the ten arrested Palestinians are wounded and are currently in Arish hospital. The three are the 19-year-old Yousef Omar Said, 24-year-old Bassem Mohamed Said and 18-year-old Alaa Mohamed El-Masry.

Unknown gunmen attacked a police station in Arish on Friday night. Clashes left five dead, including one police officer and one army officer. Tens have also been injured.

El-Masry had stated that security has reason to believe that those responsible for the Arish police station attack, 50km from Israel, are the same as those responsible for attacking the gas pipeline to Israel on Saturday.
