Sea ports in North Delta's Kafr El-Sheikh closed due to rain

Tuesday 22 Dec 2015

A fresh wave of rain hit cities and villages in North Delta's Kafr El-Sheikh on Tuesday, forcing the governorate to close several sea ports.

Fishing and sailing activities have also been suspended temporarily in Burullus Lake and the Mediterranean due to the inclement weather.

The Meteorological Authority said on Monday that strong rain will hit the country’s north coast, while frosty conditions are expected in central Sinai.

This winter, Kafr El-Sheikh has been repeatedly hit by heavy rain that paralysed several areas and disturbed fishing and sailing activities.
