Roadside bomb kills 2 policemen in Egypt's North Sinai

A roadside bomb killed two policemen in Karam Al-Qawadees in Egypt's North Sinai on Tuesday, Ahram Arabic news website reported.

Suspected militants targeted a passing security vehicle in the area, southwest of Sheikh Zuweid. 

A police officer and a conscript were killed in the bombing.

Egypt's army is battling a militant insurgency based in parts of North Sinai. The fighting has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Egyptian forces and militants.
