The Democratic Front group of April 6 Youth Movement has called for a demonstration today before the Health Ministry in solidarity with one of their injured members, and others injured in the revolution.

Abdel Rahman Ezz, a member of April 6, has started an open sit-in on 14 August at Qasr El-Eini hospital. According to Ezz, the hospiital has refused to give him a report proving that he was injured on 28 January. Ezz says he lost his right eye during the battle with the security forces on Qasr El-Nile Bridge that day and he was also injured in his legs and ears.

Ezz also accuses the hospital's security of beating him and ejecting him from the hospital as he announced his intention to demonstrate on Sunday.

Reports on the refusal of the hospital granting necessary documents are rife among families of the revolution's martyrs and injured.
