Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi met on Thursday South Korean President Park Geun-hye in Seoul in his last stop in his Asian tour.
The two presidents held talks to discuss increasing Korean investments in Egypt, especially in the Suez Canal Development Project.
They also discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the fight against terrorism.
El-Sisi and Geun-hye also attended the signing of nine memorandums of understanding between Egypt and South Korea in the fields of industry, education, transportation and justice.
The Egyptian president also visited the South Korean parliament where he had a meeting with South Korea's National Assembly speaker Chung Ui-hwa and a number of MPs.
President El-Sisi also held meetings with Korean CEOs and businessmen to discuss investment opportunities in Egypt.
South Korea is the last stop on the Egyptian president’s Asian tour, which included Kazakhstan and Japan.
