The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) dropped charges against former April 6th activist Asmaa Mahfouz and blogger Loai Nagati, according to statement no 72, which has already been published on the SCAF’s Facebook’s page.

On Sunday, Asmaa Mahfouz was interrogated by military prosecution and told she would remain in detention until a bail of LE20,000 ($3,355) was paid.

Mahfouz was being investigated for a Facebook status line and was accused of insulting the armed forces and of inciting violence against the state.
