
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry (Reuters)
Egypt's foreign minister Sameh Shoukry arrived early Sunday to the Sudanese capital Khartoum on an official visit to plan for a session of the Egyptian-Sudanese joint presidential committee, expected to take place soon in Cairo, MENA reported.
Shoukry is set to meet with Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir and his foreign ministry counterpart Ibrahim Ghandour.
The session, which will be headed by Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and Bashir, is expected to discuss economic and political issues of concern to both countries.
