Saudi Arabia's King Salman Bin Abdel-Aziz will address Egypt's parliament on Sunday afternoon on the fourth day of his visit to the country, which started on Thursday.
The King and his delegation have signed a number of significant political and economic agreements and MOUs with Egyptian officials.
Salman also met with Coptic Pope Tawadros as well as The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ahmed El-Tayyeb.
This is the first official visit to Cairo by King Salman since he assumed power in January 2015 following the death of late King Abdullah.
On Saturday, the king laid the foundation stone for the creation of new dormitories for international students studying at Al-Azhar University, which is part of Al-Azhar institution - the world's largest Sunni Muslim authority.
Shortly before heading to address the parliament, the Saudi Monarch will be awarded an honourary doctorate by Cairo University. The event will take place at the same time as Saudi’s finance minister, accompanied by his Egyptian counterpart, lay the foundation stone to the development project of developing the University's Al-Qasr Al-Ainy Hospital, which will be financed by a combination of Saudi grants and loans.
