Cairo’s criminal court will resume on Saturday the case against 13 police officers from the Imbaba district of Giza accused of killing demonstrators during Egypt’s 28 January “Day of Anger”, when hundreds of thousands took to the streets against police brutality and called for the ouster of Mubarak.
In the last session of this case, the court had ordered the coroner to re-examine the bodies of the victims to confirm the cause of death.
