Activists are organising a protest outside the Press Syndicate this evening to support the families of Israeli embassy protest detainees. The protest is to take place after a press conference for the same cause organised by the Freedom Committee of the Journalists Syndicate at 6pm.

Around 121 people were detained after the Israeli embassy protests after some people entered the floor of the embassy archives, took the Israeli flag from the building and destroyed the wall built in front of the embassy.

After those incidents, the ruling military council announced the reactivation of the emergency law. Ninety two of those detained are facing military trials and 29 are facing the State Security Emergency Court.
