Interior ministry to provide Egyptians in US, Canada, UK and France with national ID cards

Egypt’s Ministry of Interior plans to dispatch official delegations to the United States, Canada, Britain and France to issue national identification cards and other official documents for Egyptian nationals living and working abroad.

A delegation of ministry officials is scheduled to visit Los Angeles for this purpose from 27 October to 4 November. Two similar delegations will also be sent to Canada – one to Montreal from 27 October to 30 October; and one to Toronto from 31 October to 3 November. 

Another delegation will also be sent to London for the same purpose from 7 November to 23 November; and to Paris from 24 November to 27 November.

Ministry delegations are expected to stay at each city’s respective Egyptian consulate.
