Egypt’s Minister of Defence Sedky Sobhi met on Wednesday with Cameroonian Defence Minister Joseph Beti Assomo in Cairo, to discuss subjects of mutual interest between the two countries, state news agency MENA reported.
According to MENA, Sobhi and Assomo discussed bilateral relations and as well as military cooperation during their meeting.
They also discussed the latest developments in Africa including the war on terrorism.
Assomo is currently visiting Egypt with a delegation of Cameroonian officials.
The Egyptian army’s Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy also attended the meeting with a number of Egyptian military officials.
