Egypt's Prime Minister Sherif Ismail announced that the Islamic Eid Al-Fitr holiday will start on Sunday and run for three days, state news agency MENA reported.

Public sector employees in ministries, governmental authorities, and other state-owned institutions will take three days off work for the holiday.

Eid Al-Fitr is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide to mark the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
