Egypt's Sisi tells police cadets that 'combating evil forces' not limited to Sinai only

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi told students at the country’s Police Academy on Friday morning that combating "evil forces" was not only limited to Sinai.

President El-Sisi said that fighting off "evil forces" requires readiness to preemt attempts to undermine the nation’s security, adding that in the field of combating terrorism, the country has achieved good results.

He also asked students during the early morning visit to the academy, accompanied by Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar, to display ethical and noble military values.

The President also saluted families of the academy's students for allowing their sons to act as a shield to protect the country.

The president's visit with police cadets comes few days after he visited the military academy with Defence Minister Sedki Sobhi, where he met the academy's students and discussed the future army officers’ training.
