With lower temperatures forecast for this weekend, visibility was reduced on Friday morning due to mist in Cairo, on the northern coast, in the Nile Delta, and in the Suez Canal cities.
South Sinai, the Gulf Sea and the Red Sea will see increased winds on Friday, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority said.
The northern part of the country had this week seen a run of high temperatures, with mercury in the capital north of 30 degrees, but Friday marks the beginning of a drop, the EMA said.
Cairo will see a high of 26 degrees Celsius and a low of 17 degrees on Friday, while Alexandria will see a high of 21 and a low of 12.
Highs in Aswan and Luxor on Friday will reach 38 degrees, while at night they will experience lows of 20 and 17 degrees respectively.
The tourist city of Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai will enjoy a high of 29 and a low of 21, the cities of Hurghada will also experience a high of 29 and a low of 16.
