Egypt's Sisi discusses regional developments with King Abdullah of Jordan in phone call

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi discussed with King Abdullah of Jordan the latest regional developments on Thursday in a telephone call, the Egyptian presidency announced.

King Abdullah II called El-Sisi to convey his best wishes on the first day of Ramadan.

The two leaders discussed the situation in Palestine and agreed to boost joint efforts to reach political settlements in the region. 

They also discussed boosting Egyptian-Jordanian bilateral relations in the coming period.
