EgyptAir is to run 11 charter flights for Egyptian football fans to fly to Russia in support of the Egyptian national team, according to a statement released by the airline on Sunday.
Egypt will face Russia in their second match in the World Cup on Tuesday in the city of Saint Petersburg.
The national flagship carrier airline will be offering a charter flight to St. Petersburg on Sunday transporting 150 fans, with a further 10 flights offered on Monday for 1700 fans, a company statement said.
Since Thursday, EgyptAir has run 19 charter flights for fans from Cairo Airport to Russia.
The Pharoahs flew on Sunday morning from their World Cup base-city of Grozny to St Petersburg, in preparation for their second group-stage match against the Spornaya.
