Hot weather will continue around Egypt on Saturday, with high of 37 degrees Celsius in Cairo and 45 in Upper Egypt, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said on Friday.
According to the EMA statement, the country’s Mediterranean coast will enjoy more moderate weather.
Cairo and the Nile Delta will see highs in the upper 30s and lows of 25 degrees on Saturday, whereas Alexandria and Marsa Matrouh on the coast will see a high of 30 and a low of 23.
Upper Egypt will see a high of 45 degrees and a low of 23.
South Sinai will see a high of 38 degrees and a low of 17.
Both Upper Egypt and South Sinai will see active eastern winds that will disturb navigation in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea.
