Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will hold talks with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan in Cairo on Tuesday, Egypt’s presidential office said in a statement.

The two leaders will discuss ways to bolster bilateral relations and address the latest regional developments, presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said in the statement without revealing further details.

The duo last met in Cairo in April, days after El-Sisi's re-election for a second four-year term.

El-Sisi also sat down with Al-Nahyan in February in Emirati capital Abu Dhabi, with their talks focusing on combating terrorism and depriving extremist groups of funding.

Egypt and the UAE are part of a Saudi-led Arab alliance that severed diplomatic ties and transport links with Qatar in June 2017, saying that Doha had been supporting terrorist groups and meddling in their internal affairs. Qatar has denied the accusations.
