Egypt, Nigeria negotiate joint military cooperation

Military Production minister Mohamed el Assar discussed on Tuesday with visiting Nigerian Minister of Defense Mansur Mohammed Dan means of boosting joint cooperation.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of a visit by the Nigerian minister and his accompanying delegation to the factory of armored vehicles production and maintenance, an affiliate to the military production ministry.

Assar confirmed Egypt's keenness to promote joint cooperation in the domain of manufacture.

He reviewed the potentials and know-how of the companies affiliated to his ministry.

For his part, the visiting minister voiced admiration over the advanced technology of the military production factories in Egypt.

This advanced technology encourages setting up joint ventures and exchanging of know-how, he added.
