Egypt's Sisi approves USAID grant to improve water services

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi approved a US grant on Thursday for boosting water security and improving water sanitation services across Egypt.

Under the deal, signed in September 2017, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will offer Egypt a grant of around EGP 51 million to improve the country's freshwater and sanitation systems.

The decree was published in the Official Gazette on Thursday.
