Crashed training aircraft in Fayoum has no connection to aviation ministry

The Egyptian Ministry of Aviation has said that it has no connection to a small training aircraft that crashed earlier on Wednesday into Qaroun Lake in Fayoum governorate southwest of Cairo.

Media reports have said that the aircraft belongs to the Egyptian Aviation Academy.

It is not yet clear if anyone was killed or injured in the crash.
