Egypt's Minister of Information Ahmed Anis on Thursday unveiled management changes in the Egyptian Radio and TV Union, including the local national TV channels.

Chief among the changes is the appointment of Essam El-Amir as the head of the TV sector.

Anis is the second minister of information to be appointed since the start of the January 25 Revolution despite frequent calls for the post to be abolished.
