Egypt's Red Sea Port Authority announced on Thursday that the Nuweiba sea port in South Sinai governorate has been shut down due to bad weather conditions.

The port has been closed due to high wind speeds and turbulent waters, the Port Authority said, adding that the port will reopen when weather conditions improve.
