Egypt's foreign minister Sameh Shoukry and Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Tuesday with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in Kuwait, where they discussed bilateral relations, the Egyptian foreign ministry announced.
The two officials also discussed the latest regional and international developments.
Shoukry also met with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and discussed with him the positive results of Egypt's economic reforms.
The Egyptian foreign minister also met with Marzouq Al-Ghanim, the speaker of Kuwait’s National Assembly; the pair discussed the latest regional developments.
Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Tarek El-Qouni and Kuwaiti Ambassador in Cairo Mohamed Al-Zouekh attended the meetings.
The Egyptian foreign minister arrived in Kuwait on Monday, heading an Egyptian delegation to the 12th higher joint committee meetings that will start on Tuesday.
It is expected that the joint committee will witness the signing of a number of cooperation agreements and memos of understanding between the two countries.
