Egypt offered its sincere condolences to Indonesia over the victims of the tsunami waves that hit the Asian state, a statement issued late Sunday by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry read.

The statement highlighted that Cairo would stand by Indonesia and its people in this ordeal.
