Egypt's Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker on Tuesday had talks with Sudanese Minister of Water Resources, Irrigation and Electricity Khedr Mohamed on means of boosting joint cooperation in the electricity domain.
Shaker lauded bilateral relations at economic and political levels.
The meeting took up means of achieving economic development in both countries and securing energy needs, he added.
Shaker said that Egypt is willing to support the electricity sector in Sudan.
Egypt has already trained 5,219 Sudanese cadres, he added.
The Sudanese minister also hailed cooperation between both countries.
