Egypt's Mediterranean city of Alexandria is still facing a wave of bad weather that hit its coast for the third day in a row on Friday.

The country’s second largest city was hit by heavy rain, wind and a drop in temperatures.

Ship traffic management is keeping the ports of Alexandria and Dekheila closed due to the strong winds, which are preventing safe ship navigation.

The Alexandria Sewerage Company has called on citizens to exercise caution during rainy days.

It has also called on citizens not to stop vehicles in waterlogged roads and to call the hotline 175 from any landline to report water accumulation.
