Next Thursday paid holiday to mark 25 Jan revolution 7th anniversary, police day: Egypt PM

Egypt's Prime minister Mostafa Madbouly designated next Thursday, 24 January, a national holiday to mark both the seventh anniversary of the 2011 revolution and Egypt's Police Day, state news agency MENA said.

This 25 January falls on a Friday, an official weekend holiday in the country.

The day will be a paid vacation for employees of both the public and private sectors.
