Egypt’s Sisi receives Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for talks in Cairo

Egypt’s President Abdel-Fatta El-Sisi is set to receive on Sunday Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Cairo to discuss the recent development on the Palestinian file.

Abbas arrived in Cairo on Saturday and will participate in the extraordinary session of the Arab League States Council meeting’s held at the ministerial level on Sunday, to discuss the situation in the Palestinian territories, which is held at the request of the State of Palestine.

The Palestinian President is accompanied by the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization PLO, Saeb Erekat, Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki and the president's advisor for diplomatic affairs Majdi Al-Khalidi.
