Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and Bahrain's King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa discussed in a meeting in Cairo on Sunday means of promoting joint Arab action, especially in light of current challenges faced by the Arab region, presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement.
The talks between the two leaders were held to probe ways of fostering Egyptian-Bahraini cooperation in different fields, the spokesman said.
The two leaders reviewed a number of regional issues of mutual concern, the spokesman noted.
