A Cairo Criminal Court decided on Thursday to release Al-Jazeera correspondent Mahmoud Hussein under precautionary measures.

Hussein is among other defendants in case number 441 for 2018, who face various charges including joining a banned group, spreading false news, broadcasting videos on Facebook to incite for the overthrowing the government.
