Egypt expresses condolences to Russia over flood victims in Siberia

Egypt has extended its sincere condolences to Russia over the victims of floods that hit the southern Siberian region of Irkutsk.

In a statement released by the foreign ministry on Tuesday, Egypt extended its heartfelt condolences to the victims' families, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.

The ministry also asserted the state's solidarity with the Russian government and people.

The devastating floods, considered the worst in the region in a century, have left scores of people dead and injured.
