Egypt's Sisi conveys condolences to Sharjah ruler over death of his son

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has reached out to Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, to convey his condolences for the death of his son Prince Khalid Al-Qasimi, Egyptian presidency spokesman said on Wednesday.

Sheikh Khalid Al-Qasimi, who was a fashion designer, died in London on Monday at the age of 39.

A three-day period of mourning has been announced with flags to fly at half-mast around the United Arab Emirates.
