Egypt's Sisi appoints new president of Constitutional Court

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has appointed counselor Said Maree Mohamed Gad as the new president of the Supreme Constitutional Court.

The official gazette published presidential decree No.332 of 2019 concerning the appointment of counselor Gad as president of the Constitutional Court with the rank of minister.

The decree is due to be effective from 14 July 2019.
