Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is set to head to Greece and Cyprus on Tuesday to discuss regional and international issues, including terrorism and developments in the region.

In a statement, Egyptian foreign ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez said that Shoukry will first head to Athens to meet with his counterpart Nikos Dendias and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

He will then head to Cyprus, where he will meet Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades and Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides.

The meetings with both countries' officials, which are part of the tripartite cooperation mechanism between the three countries, will involve talks about illegal migration and developments in the Middle East.
