Egypt's Sisi awards U19 handball team first class medal of sports after World Championship win

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has awarded the first class medal of sports to the country's youth handball team, who won the 2019 IHF Men's Youth World Handball Championship in Macedonia on Sunday. 

El-Sisi praised the great achievement by the team, presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said.

The president also ordered providing all the needed facilities for the Egyptian handball teams, in addition to stepping up preparations for the IHF World Men's Handball Championship, to be hosted by Egypt in 2021.

The award ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy.
